Real life spooky story or not, this is a great activity for the family to do! Spend the upcoming nights reading ghoul stories to get you in the mood, or share any creepy stories that you may have encountered. This is a great way for the elderly and younger generations to connect through storytelling.

Halloween Crafts and Treats

This is a great way to show your artistic side and keep your brain active! There are loads of different Halloween themed arts and crafts. With a quick Google search you’ll be able to find something that matches you.
Painted Pumpkins: is carving a pumpkin a little too hard to do? Paint them instead! All you'll need is a pen, pencil, paint and a pumpkin! Optional supplies: googly eyes, pipe cleaners, glue.

Cheesecloth Ghosts: these can be made with things already found in your home. Check out how to make them here.

Mummy Votive Jars: all you'll need are any kind of jars (like mason jars), votive or tea light candles, gauze, googly eyes and glue! These make great Halloween decorations and are fun to make!

Halloween Banana Popsicles: a fun and healthy snack for everyone to enjoy. Made with a few ingredients, this snack is quick and easy to make. Bananas, Greek vanilla yogurt, sugar, chocolate chips, peanut butter and popsicles sticks are required ingredients for this spooky snack.
